This very site. A design for a new homepage, using a lightbox–based portfolio.
I developed it from a PSD template I found online
and it became an experiment in using OOCSS (object orientated CSS) in my stylesheets.
It is a flexible, maintainable and effient design using typography as a strong design element.

My primary focus is on development in (X)HTML and CSS and I have intimate knowledge of the syntax and implementation of either in order to create a functional, presentable and effective site. Recently I’ve been researching HTML5 and CSS3 and the powerful new features they provide. I’ve been experimenting with the features they provide for detailing, structuring and styling and wish to begin applying these to my future web developments.
Since smart phones, and more recently tablet computers, have become more popular and widespread than ever before, I am taking this into account and adapting my designs to be viewable on the various screen sizes that are used. By avoiding Flash content as much as possible, and replacing it with newer HTML5 features, your site can be visible to anyone on virtually any device or browser.
While I may use the latest features avaliable to me in my work as much as possible, I try to retain compatability to older browsers as much as possible, by using compatability scripts or a graceful fall back that wont ruin the look and feel of the site.
I can design and develop your site offline to get it just the way you want it, temporarily hosting it on my own webserver. However, if you wish to have it published you must have obtained both a domain name and a webhost that offers sql databases and runs PHP.
